Linim Nzeriuno Omotayo, LL.B, B.L, LL.M, Ph.D (In view), is a PhD Candidate/Doctoral Researcher in Human Rights Law and Criminal Justice at the School of Law and Social Science, University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), Preston, Lancashire, England, United Kingdom.

She is a Law Tutor/Mentor for Undergraduate and Master’s students in Law, through the Teaching and Mentorship experience obtained from the graduate school at UCLan, England. Linim is also currently engaged in work as a Legal Advisor/Contracts Specialist with L. Omotayo & Associates. This Contract Specialist role entails advising clients on issues regarding contracting protocols, best practice through drafting and assessment of contractual documents.

After obtaining her law degree from the University of Benin in Nigeria, Linim received her license to practice law in Nigeria. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2009 and became a qualified Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. In addition to her contractual expertise, Linim has provided legal solutions and support to clients in immigration matters, real estate, hire purchase, wills and estate, and civil and criminal matters.

A passionate advocate for human rights, in particular the rights of victims of human trafficking. Linim is currently working on an extensive research which assesses a suitable legal approach to promote justice from criminal prosecution for victims of human trafficking. Other projects she intends to execute in the future include, an Awareness, Counselling and Rehabilitation (ACR) program which will educate the general populace on the ill effects of human trafficking. This ACR Initiative will also counsel victims who have been trafficked and rehabilitate them to a suitable position, where they can get back on their feet within the society structure.
